Airbus Helicopters Inc. is pleased to announce that EagleMed LLC, a subsidiary of Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), is committed to growing its fleet of Airbus Helicopters AS350 AStar helicopters.

EagleMed has ordered three AS350s and taken delivery of two since May 2014, including one delivered Feb. 19. Delivery of the third aircraft is scheduled for May. The new AS350s open up additional service opportunities for EagleMed’s critical care transportation business and are part of the company’s fleet modernization plans.

With the latest AS350 delivery, EagleMed will operate an all AS350 fleet of 15 helicopters along with 20 Beechcraft King Airs in 12 states serving 30 locations. The interior for the latest EagleMed AS350 was installed by Metro Aviation, of Shreveport, La. All of the EagleMed aircraft are configured for mission critical transports and equipped to transform them into “flying ICUs.”
