7 Marines and 4 Army personnel killed in poor visibility on Florida coast.
The missing Marines were from a special operations regiment out of Camp LeJeune in North Carolina – identified as Capt. Stanford Henry Shaw III , Master Sgt. Thomas Saunders, Staff Sgt. Liam Flynn, Staff Sgt. Trevor P. Blaylock , Staff Sgt. Kerry Michael Kemp , Staff Sgt. Andrew Seif and Staff Sgt. Marcus Bawol
The helicopter and air crew were assigned to the Army National Guard unit out of Hammond, Louisiana. Piloting the helicopter were Chief Warrant Officer George Wayne Griffin Jr and Chief Warrant Officer George David Strother. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Lance Bergeron and Staff Sgt. Thomas Florich
