ADAC HEMS Academy is to receive an H145 T2 full flight level D simulator in the first quarter of  2017 to help train its helicopter crews and other international customer on the new Airbus H145 T2 varients.

Thomas Gassman, director of business development and sales, said that the simulator will be delivered by Reiser Simulation and Training and will be used to train ADAC’s 150 pilots, 70% of whom need a dual rating on the organisations two new aircraft types that are coming into service.  Seventeen older BK117s have already been sold to Airwork of New Zealand, together with spare parts. They are being leased back then gradually replaced as ADAC’s 14 new EC145 T2s and three EC135 P3s come into service. The first three EC145 T2s have already been delivered although training currently has to take place in the aircraft as there is no simulator available.

The first phase of cooperation between ADAC HEMS Academy and Reiser was the delivery of an H145T2  cockpit procedural trainer, which was being demonstrated at Heli Expo.
