Kazan Helicopter Plant, a subsidiary of the holding “Russian Helicopters” Rostec, SC, was one of the venues for XXIII Russian-Cuban Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation. Members of the Commission, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov visited the production facilities of the enterprise.

The delegation inspected the equipment produced at the plant, among which the new multi-purpose helicopter Mi-17V-5 and easy “ANSAT” in different models:

Deputy General Director of holding “Russian Helicopters”, Director General of the Kazan helicopter plant Vadim Ligay said: “Kazan Helicopter Plant support strategic cooperation with Cuba since the founding of the republic. This is one of our traditional markets. We appreciate the long-standing relationship with our Cuban partners. ”

Over the years the plant has supplied Cuba various types of helicopters: Mi-4, Mi-14, Mi-8/17.
