Sikorsky awarded $7.7M order for MH-60R moving map integration

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded $7,710,680 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 4028 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-14-G-0004) for non-recurring engineering (NRE), logistics and program support required to produce and deliver six Moving Map Integration (MMI) air vehicle production and installation kits, and associated supporting documentation for the Navy MH-60R/S aircraft. In addition, this order includes the NRE, logistics, production to ensure the MMI air vehicle production and installation kit, and supporting documentation can also be installed for the MH-60R aircraft for the governments of Australia and Denmark. The MMI air vehicle production and installation kit shall include the wiring and mounting bracket necessary to install an Advanced Data Transfer System (ADTS) Data Transfer Unit (DTU). The MMI air vehicle production and installation kit shall include provisions to allow connectivity of a Gen III, Gen V or Gen VI mission computer with the ADTS DTU and the rest of the MMI components. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut (70 percent); Owego, New York (20 percent), and Patuxent River, Maryland (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2017. Fiscal 2014 aircraft procurement (Navy) and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $7,710,680 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($6,397,234; 83 percent); and the governments of Australia ($800,441; 10 percent) and Denmark ($513,005; 7 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
