Aspen Avionics announced today that Robert J. Blaha has been named director of business development which will include Aspen’s newly acquired NexNav GPS product line. Blaha has been with Aspen since 2007, previously holding the positions of regional sales manager and director of international sales.
In his new role, Blaha’s initial effort will be to expand Aspen’s position in the avionics OEM and in the manned/unmanned airframe OEM markets. Blaha will be responsible for identifying unique opportunities available to Aspen with its newly acquired NexNav GPS product line; a result of its acquisition of Accord Technology LLC in June 2015. He will report to Hal Adams, executive vice president of business development.
