Jerry Trim­ble Heli­copters (JTH) in McMin­nville, Ore­gon recently added an ELITE TH100 Heli­copter Advanced Avi­a­tion Train­ing Device (AATD) to their flight train­ing pro­grams. The TH100 will be used to lower train­ing cost, increase pro­fi­ciency and enhance the safety of stu­dents and pilots. JTH is rec­og­nized in the heli­copter com­mu­nity for their top-notch train­ing pro­grams and excel­lent instruc­tors. Jerry Trim­ble Heli­copters is also well known for cre­at­ing and host­ing their annual “Touch­down Autoro­ta­tion Com­pe­ti­tion” which just cel­e­brated its fifth year.

As an AATD, the ELITE® TH100 Heli­copter is cer­ti­fied by the FAA for the max­i­mum allow­able cred­its for a heli­copter AATD toward the pri­vate, instru­ment, com­mer­cial, and ATP rat­ings. The trainer is based on an AS350 single-engine tur­bine heli­copter and fea­tures WAAS enabled GPS and Fore­Flight® nav­i­ga­tion compatibility.
