The HAI Board of Directors has been meeting this past weekend in Louisville, KY — site of HAI HELI-EXPO 2016 next February 29 – March 3, with the exhibit hall open March 1–3. On Saturday, Nov. 7, the board hosted an evening reception for HAI members in the Louisville area.

Some 40 reception guests had an opportunity to mingle with board members, who are selected from HAI’s operator members, and discuss issues of concern. In turn, the board had the chance to update members on issues on which HAI is focused.

The board traditionally holds its last meeting of the calendar year in the city where the next HAI HELI-EXPO will be held, allowing the board to see what’s ahead for Expo attendees and exhibitors. Although a new site for HAI, Louisville is on track to be one of the best shows ever. All of the indicators — booth space reserved, number of exhibitors, preregistration, hotel reservations — are tracking with the strongest shows HAI has held over the past several years.
