MAV Student Teams! This is a reminder to submit your Team Information Form for the 4th Annual AHS MAV Student Challenge by Friday, January 22. Finalists will be selected in the next three months to participate in the final fly off at the 72nd Annual Forum in West Palm Beach, Florida. Up to $10,000 in prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.

VFF Scholarship Application Deadline

Students have until Monday February 1 at 11:59 ET (GMT-5) to submit their VFF scholarship applications and all supporting materials, including letters of recommendations.

Please download and review the Guidelines for Student Application, the VFF Application fillable PDF, and the Guideline for Professor Recommendation documents from www.vtol.org/vff as soon as possible to ensure your application package is complete. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

33rd Annual Student Design Competition

The AHS International Student Design Competition challenges students to design a vertical lift aircraft that meets specified requirements, providing a practical exercise for engineering students at accredited colleges and universities around the world. The competition promotes student interest in vertical flight technology. A total of $12,000 in prizes will be awarded for the best designs.

A Letter of Intent to participate must be received no later than Tuesday, February 9 and must include the team members, whether it is a graduate or undergraduate team, their faculty sponsor and email addresses for all participants. Requests for information and clarification will be accepted continuously but must be received no later than March 26, 2016. Proposals must be submitted no later than May 29.
