Bristow ranked 23 on Chief Executive magazine’s 2016 40 Best Public Companies for Leaders List published in January, up from last year’s ranking of 31. Chief Executive identifies companies that excel in leadership development to learn what organizations are doing to identify and nurture people to leadership positions. Rankings are also affected by the company’s reputation among its peers as a source for well-rounded talent and the percent of senior management recruited from internal talent pools.
“It is an honor for Bristow to be recognized for the variety of formal and informal learning opportunities offered at various levels of the company in addition to the deep commitment shared among the senior management team in regards to the importance of people development, particularly in the area of leadership,” said Director of Talent and Organizational Development Denise Mannix. “We’ve also notably improved our position against other larger and well-known organizations.”
The final, top-40 ranking consists of public companies with over $1 billion in revenue.
