For over 15 years, Axnes Aviation AS (Norway) has produced the popular and successful Polycon wireless intercom system. Axnes is now excited to announce they will start deliveries of their PNG (Polycon New Generation) wireless communication technology in the 2nd quarter of 2016. After 3 years of development, the new PNG secure wireless radio system enables cordless intercom capability at extended line-of-sight range. PNG is a digital dual-band system, with full-duplex features and will have a built-in GPS receiver integrated into the waterproof MP50 handsets for improved situational awareness. As an option, an integrated AIS-SART marine beacon will also be available. PNG is designed to serve the search and rescue communities, airborne law enforcement and EMS, military and special operations customers.
