Breeze-Eastern LLC will display its largest-ever array of leading-edge and legacy products in Exhibit 11944 at HAI HELI-EXPO 2016.

The company will introduce and display a new DC brushless motor and controller for new and legacy 20200 Series rescue hoists. The upgraded hoist, known as BL-20200-440, features unlimited duty cycle, a 60 percent increase in speed, and lower power consumption. Breeze-Eastern expects the DC brushless motor and controller to be qualified and available for order and installation this fall.

The company will also showcase and demonstrate the SCOUT mission data recorder and hook illumination package — mounted on a 29900 hoist — and INSIGHT wireless app/tablet. Both are part of the MissionView™ family of products Breeze-Eastern is developing to improve situational awareness and safety.

SCOUT, designed to work seamlessly with Breeze-Eastern hoists, cables and rescue hooks, features 16 RGB LED lights to improve visibility in low light conditions and help crew maintain a visual reference with the hook.

INSIGHT wirelessly delivers mission data to a phone or tablet, identifying load profiles and recording and storing exportable data to enhance maintenance, training, and mission effectiveness. Both systems were developed with operator feedback and are currently undergoing qualification testing and user evaluations.

An array of hooks, pendants and other products will also be on display.
