Sikorsky awarded $16M for US Navy H-53 and H-60 field support

Sikorsky Support Services, Inc., Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $16,232,698 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering technical services and field services in support of the H-53 and H-60 aircraft, subsystems, and associated support equipment. Work will be performed in Miramar, California (22 percent); McGuire Air Force Base (22 percent); New River, North Carolina (22 percent); Mayport Naval Station (12 percent); North Island, California (11 percent); and Cherry Point, North Carolina (11 percent),  and is expected to be completed in April 2021. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).   Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $688,927 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year.   The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity (N68936-16-D-0034).
