Advanced Helicopter+Rescue Techniques completes Initial Hoist Training with Orange County Sheriff’s Air Support Unit. The training was performed in Orange County and provided Ground Training as well as Technical Ground and Flight Training.
Orange County Sheriffs Sgt. Bill Fitzgerald says, “ the training was tailored to our needs extremely well, conducted and adjusted to an organization like ours.” He also adds, “having training with AH+RT helps our organization improve flight safety, be more efficient in hoist rescue, and most important, to set standards for training and execution of hoist rescue with our Bell UH-1H and AS350B3 aircraft.” Further he added, “the professionalism shown by AH+RT instructors was outstanding, their knowledge of hoist rescue techniques and how they instructed it was absolutely amazing.”

Advanced Helicopter + Rescue Techniques offers a combination of training specializing in helicopter wildland firefighting (day/night/NVG), advanced NVG rescue operations, day, night, land, mountainous and water environment flying, technical rescue as well as tactical operations.
The company is also working closely with Simplex Aerospace to offer aerial firefighting training and systems installation training.
