In the newly created position, Doerr will be responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and growth of the Tourism Division, including overseeing Sundance Helicopters and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Air Methods’ heli-tour operations serving Las Vegas, Nevada, the Grand Canyon and Hawaii. Doerr joined Air Methods as executive vice president of Business Development in late 2013, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in financial, operational and general management positions along with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. He will retain his executive vice president responsibilities with Air Methods while leading the Tourism Division.

David has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are excited to have his expertise in driving the growth of our tourism business.”

Prior to joining Sundance Helicopters, Greiner served as president of iTriage, LLC, an Aetna company. He joined the company in 2009 as chief operating officer during its start-up phase, building the team from 17 employees to more than 120 and successfully running a process to sell the company to Aetna. Greiner was previously the top executive at MapQuest where he led a team delivering annual growth rates in excess 20 percent per year.
“I’m delighted to welcome Jim to the tourism team,” said Doerr. “Jim’s experience and proven success in developing and growing businesses is a great addition to the leadership of our organization. Adding Jim to the team will complement the strong leadership Gregg Lundberg provides to our Blue Hawaiian business. It is truly is an exciting time for the Tourism Division.”
