Farmington Air Evac Lifeteam base recently awarded Shane Cook, a flight nurse and clinical lead, the title of Region 1 Base Clinical Lead of the Year. This award is given to a flight paramedic or nurse who shows the ability to be dedicated, accountable, enthusiastic and is someone who takes initiative and has a full commitment to not only their own personal growth but the growth of their team.

As reported by Daily Journal Online, Shane Cook meets these requirements and more. He is able to see when guidance is needed for transitioning interns, how to set an example in the workplace and encourage colleagues to do the same.
