A new helipad was opened by Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters at the Hoover Dam Lodge and Casino. The new helipad hopes to bring in more tourists, as it has more exposure to drive-by tourists. As reported by The Review Journal, the president of the company Geoff Edlund is expecting 20 000 people to board their flights within the first year of the helipad being opened.

They also aim to get more tourists to experience the flight through Boulder City. The flights ensure that the Hoover Dam and surrounding National Park are experienced in a memorable way.
