Clarence Carldwell has recently been honoured with the title of being Air Evac Lifeteam’s Region 4 Pilot of the Year. Even though Clarence recently changed over from an area pilot to a base pilot, he was clearly seen as a winning candidate.
Ozark Radio News reports that Ronnie Fleming, the regional director of flight operations, speaks highly of Clarence. He says that he exceeds expectations, always maintains a professional image, is constantly working within the team and encourages community involvement.
Air Evac Lifeteam’s headquarters are situated in O’Fallon. They own over 125 air medical bases that covers 15 different states. Their teams each consist of a pilot, flight nurse and paramedic and are open all hours, seven days a week to provide emergency air medical care.
