Rotorcraft have been given the green light to relocate from Van Nuys Airport to Fillmore. The Fillmore City Council had a unanimous vote to allow development for a new hangar to begin in the 10 acres bought by Rotorcraft. The Guardian, a firefighting helicopter agency hopes to share the plot.

These two companies will bring in 74 employees and Rotorcraft plans to hire 15 Fillmore locals as well. The move is seen as “an economic development coup,” reports VC Star.
