Questions are rising about whether Samoa Helicopters has a future. Their single helicopter has not moved from Mulinu’u. It was in use for months after the March general election when the company received an endorsement from Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, reports Samoa Observer.
The helicopter had been in frequent use, giving tours, a SAR in Savai’i and even a wedding. The company’s rescue hotline is not being answered as well as emails to Rodger McCutcheon, the owner.
