ETMC has recently moved one of their Air 1 emergency helicopters to Pittsburg. This new location provides patients with a faster response time as they will have faster transportation to ETMC Tyler’s Level 1 trauma centre. ETMC Air 1 is crewed 24 hours a day, all week. The Commission on Accreditation of Air Medical Transport Services has accredited the ETMC Air 1. Their fleet is made up of three EC-135 helicopters, reports The Gilmer Mirror.
