The CommLab at the Helicopter Flight Training Center provides a hands-on environment for communication specialists. Training includes both inter-facility and scene transfers, multiple aircraft requests, map reading, flight following and more. Several communication centers have realized the immense benefits of the CommLab and are planning to send their communication specialists to classes in 2017.
The CommLab is available to all communication specialists and will conduct classes on the following dates in 2017:
