Lower House MP, Daw Myint Myint Soe has suggested using the Polish loan of €50 million to purchase a Russian made firefighting helicopter and still have enough funds to purchase 50 fire engines. A helicopter could easily get to a location regardless if there is a large traffic jam, which would be an issue for a fire brigade. It could be useful in relief missions, small villages with water shortages or wildfires, reports Myanmar Times.
