India – Global Vectra Starts New Service in Nagaland

The Nagaland State Helicopter service will be taken over by Global Vectra Helicorp Limited (GVHL) for the next two years. The service was flagged off on January 2 by the Nagaland Minister for Transport, Civil Aviation, IT & C and Paiwang Konvak, Border Affairs. Paiwang insured that GVHL knew the importance of adapting to the local environment, as well as letting the people of Nagaland know that air traffic is subject to a number of things such as weather or State Emergencies.

He also mentioned the service will be operating under the subsidised scheme from the Ministry of Home Affairs, where they cannot exceed maximum flying hours. The CEO of GVHL ensured the people that the company would make service to the people his top responsibility. Nagaland will be the 15th base for GVHL in the country, reports Morung Express.
