Trauma Star ended 2016 by transporting four critically injured people from a collision at Mile Marker 16 to Miami. This marked the end of a record year.

They were able to fly 528 patients in 2016 alone, breaking the old record of 397 a year. 114 of the flights were trauma related, 18 were heart attacks, 17 were strokes, 378 were inter-facility flights and one was for a first response to the Dry Tortugas, reports FL Key News.
