Northern HeliCopter (NHC) has entered into a contract with GeoSea to provide medical services to the Merkur offshore wind farm in the German Bight during their commissioning and installation phase.

They will provide offshore paramedics for the installation vessels as well as providing telemedicine services. The wind farm is hoped to be done by 2018 and with 66 GF Haliade 150-6MW wind turbines they will be able to produce an estimated 1, 750GWh per year, reports Offshore Wind.
