The Irish Community Air Ambulance (ICAA) has a started a 10-day tour of Munster and South Leinster as a fundraiser for their Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) project. The tour, which started on Monday 23rd, is in a Eurocopter EC135 T2 and a G-SASA.
A few of the places they have visited already include Ferrybank, Enniscorthy and Wexford. In the following days they will reach Limerick, Killarney, Dingle, Dunhill, Thurles, Dungarvan and Cork. They hope that the fundraiser will help them reach their goal of €1 million, the start-up costs for their HEMS project, reports Flying in Ireland.
