Argentina’s Ministry of Security plans to spend €23.943 million on upgrades from Airbus Helicopters for their AS365N2 helicopters. The three helicopters, used by the Prefectura Naval Argentina, are close to their 10-year mark.
When they reach that mark they require a complete overhaul, causing them to be out of service for an entire year. The upgrades they will receive now include new engines, new airframes, a new four-axis automatic pilot as well as day and night digital electronics, reports IHS Jane.
