Raimundas Karoblis, the Lithuanian Defence Minister has disclosed his decision regarding Air Force Commander Colonel Audronis Navickas. Navickas, who was suspended in November last year, is under investigation regarding two SAR helicopters being sent to Russia.
The minister has decided that Navickas will not be allowed to return to duty once the investigation is over. He is now in the temporary reserve of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. If he is not offered a post after two months he will be permanently transferred to the reserve, reports The Baltic Times.
