Rosoboronexport, Russian Helicopters and HAL have come together to form a Joint Venture in creating a light weigh multi-role Ka-226T. The agreement contract will take another two months as they still need formal registration between Russia and India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed the intergovernmental agreement in December of 2015, reports India Times.
