The Ohio National Guard revealed their newest aircraft, the UH-60M Blackhawk. The Guard has used the UH-60 Blackhawk for the past 30 years and welcome the newest model.
Major Dave McDarmont has reported on the new “robust airframe” of the craft and how it has a longer service lifespan and is more durable. Complete with built in sensors, the helicopter can detect any damage or wear. One of the biggest new features is the digital cockpit and auto-pilot feature that enables the pilots to know the location of other helicopters. They hope to receive 20 UH-60M Blackhawks by the end of 2018, reports nbc4i.
