Bell is looking into purchasing 139 acres of land in east Fort Worth so that they can build a facility for pilot training. The new land will also ensure that Alliance Airport sees less air traffic, greatly reducing the amount of noise pollution. They have received many noise complaints by residents around Alliance Airport, who sit along the 377 and Rufe Snow flight path, reports Star Telegram. The Fort Worth City Council will be voting this week as to whether Bell can receive a zoning change in order to build runways and perform training operations.
