The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre has been given the go ahead to start construction on their new helipad. Members of Alberta Health Service met up recently to discuss the design of the helipad with the Wood Buffalo Health Advisory Council. The helipad will be 60ft x 60ft and will match the height of the hospital. They hope to start construction in late August or early September and have the project completed by 2018, reports Mix 1037Fm.
