Last year, Perry County held a benefit cookout in order to raise funds to build a helipad in Frohna and Altenburg. They achieved this and were able to build the two helipads, which roughly costed between $6,000 and $8,000. This year, along with Air Evac, they plan to hold another benefit cookout, this time hoping to gain enough funds so that they can build two more helipads in Farrar and Uniontown, reports Perryville News.
