Baltimore City Mayor, Catherine Pugh, had her first budget proposal in March. Within this proposal was the plan to ground one of the police departments Foxtrot EC120 helicopters. Calculations show that this cutting will save up to $1 million, as reported by Baltimore Sun. Not only does this plan leave the fleet down to three, it also takes with it the aviation unit positions of three police officers, one police sergeant and two flight officers.
