The Toledo Police Department was given approval to sell their only helicopter, a R44 Robinson, recently this past week. They have stated that the engine is in need of a complete overhaul and the basic kit cost alone ranges from $250,000 to $275,000. That is without the labour costs. They bought the helicopter in 2001 for just over $500,000, reports 24 News.
