Air Medical Pilot of the Year
The NEMSPA Pilot of the Year Award is presented to an air medical pilot that stands out in terms of professionalism and skill, and an uncompromising attitude toward operational safety. In short, we want to recognize pilots who have made exceptional contributions to the quality and safety of air medical transport operations. Beginning in 2016, NEMSPA initiated the William T Winn Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize a pilot who not only meets all of the requirements for the NEMSPA Pilot of the Year Award, but who has done so throughout a long and faithful career as an air medical pilot. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award may be a pilot who has retired during the previous 12 months, or it may be someone who is planning to retire in the next 12 months. The link at the end of this announcement will also take you to an online nomination form for this award. September 1, is the deadline for nominations for either of these awards.
