Helinet Aviation, one of the most respected helicopter operators on the West Coast, announced today the purchase of an Airbus AS350 B2 for its ENG and Production groups. The aircraft has been specially outfitted by EuroTec, a leading helicopter sales and support company. Dedicated to the memory of Alan Purwin, the B2 features a digitized painting of Helinet’s late Founder and President.

The AS350 is uniquely configured for Helinet’s electronic news gathering operations and features a remarkable quick disconnect module that enables seamless and efficient transitions for production work. “EuroTec has exceeded our expectations with the commissioning of this AS350,” said Helinet CEO Kathryn Purwin. “From finding just the right helicopter to the incredible avionics integration, paint, artwork and tail number customization, they truly went above and beyond.”

The delivered AS350 further extends Helinet’s existing position as one of the largest helicopter operators on the West Coast and builds upon the company’s pioneering track record in the electronic news gathering and aerial motion picture and television production industries.
