Bristow has recently been given permission by Aberdeen authorities to convert a warehouse into a new terminal. The existing terminal , which is adjacent to the airport, will be used only for helicopters then, reports Evening Express, and the new terminal will be for fixed-wing aircraft only. The separation of the two types of aircraft ensures that the different safety measures for each type of craft can be performed more efficiently.
