The parliament of Botswana has approved an emergency funding request of P41 million by the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, Conservation and Tourism. With this money, they will be able to acquire three used helicopters, radio and other communication equipment and nine aviation fuel tanks. The money will also be able to fund the employment of 104 new staff. The game rangers will be able to use the extra man power and radios to help with their anti-poaching operations, as well as repairing over 150 off-road vehicles.
