After a national air safety audit, it was found out that TAFE SA did not assess their students to the correct standards. This means that numerous aircraft maintenance engineers working for CHC Helicopters have had parts of their licences suspended. While the Civil Aviation Safety Authority carries out an investigation, airlines are not approving or recognising the qualifications of those few until the investigation is finished, reports The Australian.
