The Garden Island newspaper announced yesterday their Best of Kauai award winners and named Blue Hawaiian Helicopters number one under “Best Helicopter Tour”. The only helicopter company serving all four major Hawaiian islands, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters has been flying with aloha since 1985 and also ranked in the top three under “Best Air Tour”.

“Blue Hawaiian could not be more honored to be named number one for the third year in a row by The Garden Island,” said President of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Gregg Lundberg. “Our success is driven by our dedicated workforce ohana that strive to ensure our customers have the best possible adventures.”

In order to participate in the Best of Kauai, a voter needs to submit their completed ballot to The Garden Island when ballots are issued mid-summer. After hundreds of votes are tallied, the winners are narrowed down to the three businesses with the most votes in each category, then ranked first, second and third. The results are published each fall in a special section inside The Garden Island.

“To be given such a prestigious honor by the local community is not something we take lightly,” added Lundberg. “We are grateful for the opportunity to show visitors and residents alike the beauty of the islands from our state-of-the-art helicopters.”
