North Island Hospital proudly opened their new Comox Valley campus this past Tuesday. Upgrades and improvements have been made to the facilities and patient care, with the campus supporting up to 153 beds. The Comox Strathcona Regional Hospital District and the provincial government split the project cost of $606.2 million 60/40, reports Comox Valley Record. Certification is still needed for a helipad at the facility.
