Manang Air welcomes new Airbus to its fleet

 The Manang Air Pvt Ltd brought another Airbus H125 with MSN 8477  helicopter for commercial operations in the country, a statement issued by the company today said.
Assembled in Singapore-based Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia Pvt Ltd, the chopper with a call sign 9N-AMV landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 2:50 pm Local Time while Captain duo Hira Dahal and. C.B Gurung along with Engineer Kapil Mani Nepal conducted the long ferry flight via Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh and India, officials of the company said.
The six-seater AS 350(H125) B3E chopper was renowned globally for high altitude search and rescue work with an impressive cargo-swing load capacity. The H125 outclasses all other single-engine helicopters for performance, versatility, safety, low maintenance, and low acquisition costs, while excelling in high and hot and extreme environments. It is a member of Airbus’ Ecureuil family, which has accumulated more than 30 million flight hours worldwide.
According to the Airbus, the H125 series are currently in-service worldwide, and are mainly used for high performance missions in high temperature conditions. “The H125 is a member of Airbus Helicopters’ rugged and proven Ecureuil family and some 6,000 Ecureuils have been delivered in nearly 120 countries for some 1,800 operators.”
