The Virginia State Police have honoured one of their troopers, Berke Bates, who was killed in a helicopter crash, by naming the helipad in Chesterfield County after him. The helicopter crashed during a white supremacist rally last year August. They hope that this memorial will help bring pride to Berke’s wife and two children, reports Wavy.
