The Colombian Army Aviation Branch have recently gained their first female helicopter pilot. Second Lieutenant Viviana Yesenia Forero Moncada finished her nine months of training at the Armed Forces Helicopter School in Bogotá. 2nd Lt. Forero is now equipped to fly the Bell TH-67 Creek helicopter, and is paving the way for inclusion of women in the armed forces, reports Dialogo Americas.
