
The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) of South Korea has recently launched a tender for 12 helicopters for the Republic of Korea Navy (ROK Navy). ROK Navy hopes to be operational by 2020 with the new helicopters. Proposals will be accepted until 28 September 2018. The candidates that are in the running for the $400 million contract include Sikorsky with the MH-60R, Leonardo with their AW159 and NH Industries’ NH-90NFH, reports Navy Recognition.
