While in a low hover during a rescue mission, the helicopter crashed into the water.  One police officer was trapped inside the wreckage and was later pronounced dead.  He was named in this report as Felipe Marques de Queiroz.  The others on board were named here as Major Alves, Major Albuquerque and Sargentos Morais
