
The Afghan Air Force will be upgrading their MD530F Cayuse Warrior helicopters. This upgrade will include crashworthy and auxiliary fuel tanks to ensure their safety, endurance and range. The US Army is looking for vendors to source and install the fuel tanks. The Afghan Air Force currently own 30 MD530F helicopters and have 25 more being delivered by the end of the year, reports Janes.
