Poland is looking to upgrade their aging Mi-24 attack helicopters to extend their lives until 2022. They will be reaching out, from July to September, to vendors with RFIs. They acquired the Mi-24s in 1979. They currently use two thirds of this fleet, with the plan to purchase a new fleet of 32 attack helicopters from the Kruk program. The two biggest possibilities for this program are the Bell AH-1Z Viper and the Boeing AH-64 Apache, reports Forecast International.
